Karsonovich Appointed President and CEO, ElectroCraft, Inc.

Dover, NH — (June 3, 2013)

ElectroCraft is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Karsonovich as President and Chief Executive Officer, ElectroCraft, Inc. Mike succeeds Jim Elsner who is retiring after 10 years. Under Jim’s leadership, the company has transitioned to become a dominant global motor and motion control manufacturer. The Board of Directors and I are confident that under Mike’s leadership the company will achieve even higher levels of global growth and customer service.

Mike’s career has followed a sales and marketing trajectory into general manager roles, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of a $120 million division of Thermo Fisher Scientific with global sales and 7 manufacturing sites in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Mike graduated from the U. S. Military Academy at West Point and spent 4 years as an Army officer before joining Abbott Laboratories, where he spent 7 years in the Sales and Marketing functions, before becoming National Account Manager for Parametric Technology Corporation. He joined Thermo Fisher in 2003 as Director of Marketing and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Sourcing. He became VP & GM of the Temperature Control Business before being promoted to his present position.

Mike joins our company with a wealth of experience in highly technical companies that aligns extremely well with our needs in the years ahead.
