Integral Connector Feature for ElectroCraft Stepper-Based Rotary and Linear Motors

Dover, NH — (August 31, 2009)

ElectroCraft today announced the release of an integral connector feature to compliment their stepper based motor product families. This includes both the popular TorquePowerTM Plus rotary stepper motors and the stepper-based AxialPowerTM Plus linear actuator product lines. Complementing the already released NEMA size 11 motor, this new release cascades the integral connector across our most popular stepper fame sizes. The interlocking connector is now available on all stepper-based products in NEMA size 11, 17 and 23 frame motors and linear actuators. Stepper motors and actuators with the new integral connector are available immediately for global delivery.

“Many OEM applications utilizing these smaller stepper-based products have the units wired right into their system wiring harnesses. This integral connector feature allows the designer to simply terminate his harness with a common connector and the motor arrives ready for installation. The ElectroCraft solution provides simplicity,” says Rob Kerber, Vice President of Marketing at ElectroCraft. “Motors no longer need to be prepped with a lead-exit termination or directed to production or contract manufacturers for this service.”   As part of the robust design, the ElectroCraft integral connector delivers: •           A locking style connector •           A polarized connector which installs only one-way minimizing misconnections •           Flexibility as connectors can be unplugged to suit various needs •           Availability on a wide range of product and configurations   Please contact ElectroCraft for more information on how this product, or any of our full line of motor and drive products, can fill your application needs.   About ElectroCraft ElectroCraft, Inc. is a global provider of fractional-horsepower motor and motion control solutions for both industrial and commercial applications. The company specializes in dependable, application-engineered specialty products by utilizing its Lean business philosophy to consistently meet the needs of its customers worldwide. The company’s products are found in pumps, office equipment, medical devices, aircraft and thousands of other applications. ElectroCraft is headquartered in Dover, New Hampshire with operations in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
