ElectroCraft Re-Releases EXC-Series AC Servo Motor, Delivers on Price and Reliability Over Competitors
Dover, NH — (March 4, 2008) —ElectroCraft today announced the release of the EXC-Series AC Servo motor, which offers customers high economic value and superior reliability compared with other servo motors on the market today. The EXC-Series is a cost-improved version of the popular N-Series family of AC Servo motors sold by Rockwell Automation and fills a considerable price gap for a variety of light industrial, commercial, and medical applications. The EXC-Series AC Servo motor is available for sale immediately in the United States, Europe, and Asia. To streamline the OEM design effort, ElectroCraft will launch a configurable motor design platform early in 2008.
"The EXC-Series flexible design configuration allows engineers to select a motor that meets their specified needs, while achieving the competitive advantage their business requires," said Rob Kerber, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ElectroCraft. "The electro-magnetic design of this motor has been in production for several years. Customers building equipment requiring products that have been industry-proven should consider the EXC-Series over the Parker MPN Series or the Rockwell Automation N-Series when cost and lead-time are important."
In addition to design flexibility, the EXC-Series AC Servo also delivers:
- High acceleration and speed capability,
- Environmental sealing, and
- Compatibility with most all drives, including OEM designed electronics.
